Top 5 Tools Apps in Hungary Q1 2025: Unified Platform Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, the tools app sector in Hungary saw varying trends across the top five applications on the unified platform, as revealed by Sensor Tower data.

Digitális Állampolgár began the quarter with strong weekly downloads peaking at around 67K in mid-January. However, a gradual decline was observed, closing the quarter at approximately 27K. The app maintained a high level of engagement, with weekly active users starting at 303K and reaching a peak of 607K in January before stabilizing around 386K by the end of March.

Google Authenticator experienced a notable surge in downloads at the beginning of the quarter, with numbers reaching over 67K in early January. This was followed by a downward trend, ending the quarter with about 13K downloads. Active users for the app showed an increase from 416K to a peak of 790K in mid-January, maintaining a steady level of around 495K by the end of March.

NISZ Hitelesítő saw its highest weekly downloads at 44K in early January, which then decreased throughout the quarter, closing at 8K. Active users initially increased to 164K but later exhibited fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 79K.

The app eSzemélyiM reported a peak in weekly downloads of around 29K in early January, followed by a decline and a slight recovery to 4K by the end of March. Active users started at 45K, declining to approximately 16K by the quarter's end.

Finally, Telekom maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, ranging from 8K to 9K. Active users for Telekom started at 626K, peaking at 816K by the end of March, indicating a strong user engagement.
